We Are Destiny by Alisha Williams (⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️ 1/2)

Okay okay! This is the book that has characters mentioned in We Are Worthy by Alisha Williams.

The main Omega in this book is Tia's younger brother Spencer with his pack, which includes Tia's best-friend Ivy.

This book has some content warnings: Suicidal Ideation, Alcoholism, Depression, Anxiety, and Panic Attacks. These are all things that Spencer struggles through.

There were somethings that happened in the book that were not very well explained/Spencer did not have a lot of time to deal with his trauma. The aftermath of his first heat is an example, I feel like that is glossed over until the second heat comes around and Spencer doesn't really talk to anybody about it/the initimate scenes between him and the other charaters in his pack happen immediately following this really traumatic experience that he just went through.

I was thrown off by the conflict thay happens with surprise characters later in the book. Initally there's this vague explanation of why these other people don't like there pack, but the extent of it is not explained. Again, the trauma of that experience is kot immediately addressed either. The character relationships are mostly superficial/spicy sex scenes. I don't feel like they really know anything about each other except for what Spencer shared with them. I'm wondering if that stuff wasn't really addressed because the pack was formed before Spencer comes to Calling Wood.

The sex scenes in and of themselves weren't bad. They were actually really good if you're into spicy poly love scenes. I enjoy RH romance, all the spicy scenes that come with it.

I finished this book and have been thinking about it for a couple of days. Initally when I finished it I gave it three stars, now that I've had time to reflect and question some aspects. I fluctuate between 2 & 2 1/2 stars.

Everybody's opinions are different and maybe you'll like it more than I did. Give it a try. 😊
