I enjoyed the book while reading it. The atypical interpretation of alphas was a nice change from the standard. It was definitely more on the smutty side. There was lots of insta-love and it's very fast-burn. There are a lot of sex scenes, the FMC with Multiple MMC and MMC with MMC. It's not a bad book, with that being said it is very one-dimensional at times. There is a lot of self-deprecating inner and outer dialogue by the MMCs in Pack Ashwood for A LOT of the book. I go back and forth on giving it two stars and giving it three stars because I enjoy smutty books.
What I didn't enjoy was the constant self-deprecation. Some of the guys got over their insecurities almost immediately after meeting the FMC but not all and then it lasted til the end of the book almost. I had a moment when this all was happening towards the end that I thought, "They're on a private getaway, away from the rest of the pack, she's done nothing but show she cares, loves him for who he is, so why is he still being distant and wishy-washy emotions?" I would have enjoyed the book more if that conflict happened earlier on in the book. That being said, it's not a book that is for everyone, no book is (shhh... don't tell anyone I said that). If you enjoy insta-love between alphas and omegas, insta-love between betas and omegas, female main with multiple love interests (fated live interests), a sassy-emotional heroine and the atypical alphas that love her, you'll love this book.
